Vinification
Joint harvest of the grapes, controlled and slow mash fermentation, after fermentation 4 weeks maceration time, gently pressed, maturing in an over 130 years old wooden barrel for 12 months, then 62 months in oak barriques
Vineyard
Our wine-growing estate is situated in the southern tip of the wine-growing area of the South Palatinate. Bordering Alsace, this is regarded as one of the most innovative wine regions in Germany. In this Mediterranean climate not only grapes, but also gifs, sweet chestnuts, kiwis and lemons flourish.
