The Wagentristl estate was founded in 1888, since then five generations of the Family have practiced viticulture rooted in Grosshöflein. Fourteen estate vineyard hectares are currently cultivated on the gentle slopes of the Leithaberg and its foothills. The unique regional geology and microclimate provide an incomparable terroir. Wagentristl always strives for the most natural methods with minimal intervention. The resulting wines are growths with great character.
