About
Weingut Würtzberg, the formerly Prussian estate completed in 1898, possesses two steep slate vineyards – the Serriger Herrenberg and Serriger Würtzberg. Both vineyards are so-called "Große Lagen". We currently cultivate 14 hectares, 9 of which are Riesling, 3 Pinot Blanc, 1 Pinot Noir and 1 Auxerrois. Both vineyards have a slope of approx. 60%. The soil consists dominantly of red or blue slate, which influences the taste of our Saar wines. We focus on creating individual, authentic wines with terroir-characteristics.
