El Sacramento, lies one mile south-west of Laguardia in the Rioja Alavesa, Spain at an elevation of 1,750 feet.Situated on a promontory, it really is a unique geographical place and presents exceptional views on the surrounding areas. Located on the edge of a geological break, it is also a terroir, with a natural capacity to regulate the water supply of the vineyard’s root system.Vineyard management is based on the analysis of the different soil horizons, the stalks in the spring, and the grapes during veraison. Each parcel is monitored individually to ensure a balanced crop-load.
