When Herta and Axel Stiegelmar acquired the Juris Winery, the ancestral home of the Stiegelmar family, they continued a long-established tradition dating back to 1571, yet nevertheless it represented both a challenge and an incentive for them. JURIS-winery is situated in Gols at the Neusiedlersee in Burgenland. This is a wine growing region 50km east of Vienna direction Budapest. It ist he warmest region in Austria and outstanding conditions to produce the best red wines. Pinot Noir ist he traditional grape varietal in the family going back for at least 4 generations.
