Château Haut Bages Monpelou Pauillac 2016
Description
Château Haut-Bages Monpelou is Château Batailley’s little brother. The estate is situated in the heart of the Pauillac appellation. Property of the Castéja family since the 17th century, it is a former part of Chateau Duhart Milon. Just after Wold War II, Haut-Bages Monpelou was separated from the latter and run as an individual estate. Behind Haut-Bages Monpelou stands the Batailley team and know-how. James Suckling describes Haut-Bages Monpelou as "an under the radar Pauillac to look for"
