Casa Monte Pío was founded in 1979 and it is the result of a work carried out by four generations, determined to make the most out of our native vines, focusing on working the vineyard respecting the terroir. In front of globalization our best defense is quality, and in Galicia this quality part of the tradition, in taking the best of our ancestors' heritage and developing it to bring it up to date. We try to make our wines to be more than just a silky and shiny liquid that comes up every year. Each bottle contains the mystery of a land and its unique grapes; an inimitable light and aroma.
