The Klevener de Heiligenstein comes from an area adjacent to the village of Heiligenstein defined in 1995 as AOP. The variety, Savagnin Rose, is a type of Traminer, an early version of Gewurztraminer, saved from extinction in 1742 by Ehret Wantz
Variatal: Savagnin rosé Pairs well with: A luscious wine that goes extraordinarily well with white meats, cold entres, foie gras, fish in a rich sauce.
Bouquet: Aromatic bouquet marked by notes of peach, apricot and exotic fruits with aromas of spice.
Palate : Well rounded and fruity, tender and floral with a touch of acidity.
