Vinification
Grapes harvested by hand and carefully destemmed. Fermented for 14 days on the skin, aided by manual punching down, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
Vineyard
The limestone-based vineyards, near the city of Sopron, dubbed the „Capital of Kékfrankos”, enjoys a long ripening period, thanks to the protection of the Alps and the lake effect of Lake Neusiedler. The main varieties we work with here are Kékfrankos and Merlot.
Maturation
Matured for 8 months in 3-4 years old Hungarian 300-litre oak barrels.
