About

Fort Simon was established in 1997 by Renier Uys. On the 61 hectares the following cultivars are planted. Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Viognier, Semilon, Merlot, Pinotage, Cab Sauv, Cab Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. Situated between 170 and 370 meters above sea level and surrounded by and amphitheatre of hills, Fort Simon is blessed with superb terrior. The cellar and tasting room, housed in a castle, gives our quality wines the majestic stature they deserve. Fort Simon is proud to have received a number of prestigious local and international awards over the years.
