Manaresi

About

Manaresi lies on the top of Bella Vista hill, 12 km south west from Bologna, in the heart of Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG wine district. The 11 hectares vineyards surround the wine estate centre at 270 degrees, like a belvedere on the plain and Bologna. The winery has been named after Paolo Manaresi (1908-1991), prominent painter and etcher, and is personally run by Donatella Agostoni (Paolo Manaresi’s granddaughter) and Fabio Bottonelli. All hand picked in small crates, grapes are softly worked, through low impact agriculture and vinification processes.
