APPEARANCE Intense, ruby red wine with light rim. Intense colour, clear and bright. Barrel matured NOSE A forthcoming, complex nose with flavours such as spices, white pepper, violets and an earthy smokiness complimented by red berry fruit. Well balanced with wood flavours. PALATE This is a beautifully full and complex wine. Firm tannins with good wood integration give a full, complex, but well-balanced wine. Drink now or let this one rest in the cellar for another couple of years. FOOD SUGGESTION This wine will complement a rich risotto dish or crispy pork belly.
