stablished in Elgin in 1995, Thandi – a Xhosa word meaning ‘nurturing love’ – is a wine that niches on quality, spawned the Fairtrade trend and helps to uplift and empower the previously disadvantaged people.

Already synonamous with excellent quality, Thandi also advocates ethical trading and social transformation. The community is actively involved at all stages during the wine making process, from working in the vineyards to producing the award winning wines.
