Description
Monastrell from old vines. Maceration for 6 days in large opened oak barrels of 600 liters, with very gentle pigeage. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine was racked to new oak barrels of 300 liters (mostly French), where it was aged on its own lees and on those from the Chardonnay for 12 months.
A very expressive, tasty and elegant wine.
One of the most reputed Monastrell of Spain (93 pts Peñin, more tan 90 its Parker, James Suckling and Gilbert & Gaillard).
