Description
A deep, dark plum colour hints at the body and power of this wine. A tantalizing bouquet of fresh herbs, sour cherry, cocoa powder, all spice and star anise is followed by a palate that is all clean, linear fruit with a hedonistic mouthful of soft, juicy tannins. The weighty and voluptuous mid palate is drawn out into a long , round and lush finish .

Vinification
Grapes were hand-harvested on Warwick Estate at sunrise into lug boxes, which were put into a refrigerated cool room and left overnight. The cold bunches were destemmed and the berries hand sorted before being transferred to a stainless steel tank. Cold soaking for five days preceded fermentation. The tank took 10 days to ferment followed by post fermentation maceration of eight days before barrel ageing commenced.
