Description

2015 was an exceptional year for wine: hot sunny days, an early flowering and long ripening days produced excellent grapes that developed concentrated fruit flavor. This fruit is hand sorted to allow only the best grapes to be crushed. The juice is fermented at cool temperatures then is vinified 60% oak and 40% in stainless steel tanks.

The Devon Riesling is created as a drier wine with grapes picked during mid-harvest. The 2015 is dry, crisp, clean with harmonizing acidity. This well structured Riesling shows a fine minerality with hints of citrus and white fruit tones.

Food Pairing

This wine pairs well with any higher fat foods, such as pork with a cream sauce, bratwurst and charcuterie. The acid cuts the fat nicely. A great wine to accompany hearty meals.
