Description
Bobal deSanjuan is made in our family cellar in Requena, exclusively dedicated to the grape variety BOBAL. This wine is the most straight-up expression of Bobal, fermented and aged for approx. 10months in the tanks of raw concrete. Garnet red with purple nuances. The aroma reminds of red berries, mostly strawberries, with notes of violets, and a background of black pepper and liquorice. Fruit-driven on the palate, ripe strawberries and cherries combined with refreshing hints of pepper; round tannin and fresh acidity, typical of the grape variety.
