ROUGE DOMAINE DE L'AMAURIGUE 2018

Description

Winemaking : This wine is coming from a fine selection of our best syrah and cabernet-sauvignon grapes. After 4 weeks of “soft” maceration in concrete tank under regulated temperature, the winemaker decides to stop the maceration when the perfect balance between fruits and structure is reached. Then the wine was aged 10 months in French oak barrels. Tasting Notes : Pleasantly rich yet smooth. Syrah signature is clear with aromas of white pepper and herb notes as well as licorice one. On the palate, a wonderful structure, balancing blackberry and plum, with a slightly spicy finish.
