Vinification
Destemmed and crushed, the harvest fermented in thermo-regulated vats for about ten days, then macerated in the traditional way at 25°C. Pressing. Regular racking and maturing on fine lees. Blending in March.

François is an easy drinking wine named after the Estate’s winemaker, the only boy in the Combard family ... Since the acquisition of Château Barbeiranne in 2019, it is a blend of two very beautiful terroirs: La Londe’s schists soils with maritime influence, and Pignans’ clay-limestone soils, in the inland valley of the Var.
