The 2015 Nierstein Pettenthal Riesling Trocken "Grosses Gewächs" has a bright golden-yellow color and opens with a clear, fresh and subtle bouquet of delicate Riesling aromas intermixed with crushed or weathered wet stone notes. On the palate, the wine is round, dense and complex, provided with vital acidity, fine tannins and a tightly woven texture. The finish is dense, almost lush but also well structured and long.
