Weingut Karl H. Johner - Red fruits and currants appear. This is accompanied by nutmeg, ground coffee, tobacco, cigar box and dark chocolate.
Full-bodied on the palate, sour cherry incl. cherry stones.
The tannin is very elegant and finely grained... almost like a blanket on the tongue. Very gentle astringency (hardly dries out the tongue).
This wine is now already extremely well drinkable and enormous fun.
The acidity is fine and suits well and will give the wine a beautiful elegance with age.
The finish is very long with aromas of cigar box and some sour cherries.
